Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, event management, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience planning and executing events
- CMP and/or CSEP certification preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage vendors, budgets, and multiple stakeholders
- Comfort with event technology platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, webinar tools, and registration software
- Flexible, resourceful, and collaborative
- Ability to travel to various locations across Michigan including occasional overnight and multi-day travel
- Punctual, regular, and consistent in-office attendance
- Able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple events simultaneously
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate member-facing events
- Manage event logistics including venue booking and catering
- Oversee registrations and travel arrangements
- Handle audio-visual technology setup and troubleshooting
- Build and maintain relationships with venues, hosts, and key associations
- Identify and secure sponsorship and collaborative event opportunities
- Conduct post-event follow-up and performance evaluation
