The Event Coordinator role at Kimley-Horn is a corporate position based in Phoenix, AZ, and is not remote. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the company's event management and corporate communication efforts by organizing a variety of simultaneous events and meetings. The Event Coordinator is responsible for creating event web and registration sites primarily using the Cvent platform, with training provided to ensure success. The position demands strong client service skills, effective project management capabilities, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Communication is key, as the coordinator facilitates collaboration between internal teams and external vendors, sources meeting venues, supports contract review and execution, and manages attendee lists and registrations. Additionally, the role includes supporting travel and event reporting initiatives.

Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of related experience in event management, hospitality, or customer service
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Proven ability to plan and execute multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Familiarity with event technology
- Working knowledge of meeting/event contracts

Job Duties
- Plan and build web and registration sites for multiple concurrent events in Cvent
- Source meeting venues and support contract review and execution
- Partner with event leads to manage attendee lists and registration site updates
- Research, evaluate, and communicate with vendors

- Support additional team initiatives, including travel and event reporting, as needed
