Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years banquet server experience
  • Food safety certification
  • Alcohol beverage certification
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous fine dining and banquet experience
  • Minimum 2 years of banquet server experience
  • Proven track record in assisting banquet functions and special events
  • Knowledge of banquet wine service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and supervise catered events based on client specifications
  • Work with Food and Beverage Manager and other staff to coordinate personnel requirements
  • Supervise and direct banquet staff during events
  • Communicate service expectations and goals to staff
  • Assist in creating employee incentives and morale programs
  • Develop and execute short and long-term department goals
  • Coordinate food service between kitchen and banquet staff
