The Sales Event Coordinator at Main Event plays a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience by helping plan and coordinate birthday parties, corporate functions, and group events tailored to client needs. As a Sales Event Coordinator, you will act as the primary point of contact for guests, working closely with them to understand their event vision and translate it into a detailed and enjoyable occasion. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, build lasting relationships, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Coordinators will use various programs and systems to track sales revenue, guest information, and follow-up tasks, ensuring a smooth and transparent event planning process.

The position requires collaborating with management to meet and exceed sales targets by prospecting new clients and nurturing ongoing customer relationships. Coordinators will engage in sales meetings, contribute strategic ideas, and support local marketing efforts to boost event bookings and walk-in traffic. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the workspace while providing exceptional customer service. The role demands flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate event dates. Main Event offers competitive hourly wages ranging from 17.42 to 20 per hour, with benefits available to qualifying employees. Job Duties

  • Understanding all aspects of our event packages and add-ons
  • Selling, scheduling, and coordinating corporate, group, and birthday events
  • Utilizing systems and programs to input sales revenue, guest information, and create follow-up tasks
  • Partnering with the Sales Manager to exceed sales targets and achieve quarterly sales plans
  • Prospecting and cold calling to develop ongoing relationships for new and repeat business
  • Supporting local store marketing initiatives to drive walk-in and event sales
  • Attending and engaging in weekly sales meetings to share strategic ideas
  • Performing opening, midday, or closing office duties, including upholding cleanliness and safety standards
