As a leading hotel company, Sheraton has established itself as a place where guests from around the world come together to connect, relax, and experience thoughtful service. Sheraton takes pride in creating a welcoming environment in over 400 communities worldwide, fostering a spirit of belonging among its associates and guests alike. This dedication to inclusivity helps maintain the brand's reputation as "The World's Gathering Place," where diverse cultures and experiences blend to create memorable moments for every visitor.

The role of Meet Group Coordinator/Host(ess) at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is a crucial position that supports the seamless execution of banquet and event functions. Candidates stepping into this role will be responsible for working closely with group coordinators or hosts prior to events, ensuring smooth introductions, and confirming all event arrangements meet both guest and company standards. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, beginning with reading and analyzing banquet event orders to understand guest information, setup specifications, timelines, special requests, buffets, and action stations. The Meet Group Coordinator/Host(ess) is the frontline communication specialist who responds to and attempts to fulfill any special event arrangements, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to company policies.

In addition to event coordination duties, this role emphasizes safety and compliance, requiring associates to follow all company safety and security policies, report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly, and complete necessary training and certifications. Maintaining a professional appearance and safeguarding proprietary information and company assets are also key responsibilities. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills to welcome guests warmly, anticipate and fulfill service needs, and maintain the highest quality standards throughout the event. Effective communication skills, including telephone etiquette and the ability to speak clearly and professionally, are essential.

Physical demands of the job include the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, move objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and navigate various physical environments such as confined spaces, slippery surfaces, and stairs. Stamina and adaptability are vital for performing reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Sheraton encourages team players passionate about delivering extraordinary guest experiences to join their vibrant community. The company offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for development and a comprehensive benefits package inclusive of medical, dental, vision coverage, retirement plans, and other valuable perks. This full-time position invites applicants who value professionalism, attention to detail, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the hospitality industry with one of the world’s most respected hotel brands.
