The role of an Event Coordinator at Main Event is pivotal in crafting exceptional birthday parties and group events that leave a lasting impression. An Event Coordinator acts as an ambassador of fun by upholding the company’s highest standards in safety, sanitation, and guest engagement. Responsibilities include selling and scheduling corporate, birthday, and group events, managing guest information with various systems, and partnering with Sales Managers to meet ambitious sales targets. The role also involves proactive prospecting and cold calling to expand the customer base and ensure repeat business, reinforcing the collaborative effort within the team through participation in sales meetings and supporting local marketing campaigns. This is a dynamic position requiring excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a dedicated commitment to teamwork. Job Duties

  • Upholding cleanliness and safety standards

  • understanding event packages and available add-ons
  • selling, scheduling, and coordinating corporate, group, and birthday events
  • utilizing systems to input sales revenue and guest information
  • partnering with the Sales Manager to exceed sales targets and achieve quarterly plans
  • prospecting and cold calling to develop new and repeat business
  • supporting local store marketing initiatives to drive walk-in and event sales
  • attending weekly sales meetings and sharing strategic ideas
  • performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties
