The Event Coordinator role at Main Event is essential for ensuring that every event is perfectly planned and flawlessly executed. Event Coordinators take ownership of the sales process from scheduling and selling event packages to coordinating all details to meet or exceed client expectations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior food and beverage or retail experience
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in software such as Excel, Microsoft Office, and CRM
  • Strong teamwork and relationship building skills
  • Commitment to upholding safety and cleanliness standards

Job Duties

  • Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
  • Welcoming and engaging with all guests as an ambassador of fun
  • Understanding all aspects of event packages and add-ons
  • Selling, scheduling and coordinating corporate, group, and birthday events
  • Utilizing systems and programs to input sales revenue, guest information, and create follow-up tasks
  • Partnering with the sales manager to exceed budgeted birthday, group and event sales targets
  • Prospecting and cold calling to develop ongoing relationships for new and repeat business
  • Supporting local store marketing initiatives to drive walk-in and event sales
  • Attending and engaging in weekly sales meetings to share strategic ideas
  • Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties
