The company is dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service, ensuring every visit is fun and enjoyable. With locations across the country, Main Event continues to grow and thrive in the entertainment industry by offering innovative and engaging options for leisure and celebrations.
As a member of the Main Event team, the Event Coordinator plays a crucial role in shaping unforgettable experiences for guests. This role focuses on collaborating directly with guests to design tailored birthday parties, corporate events, and group gatherings that capture the spirit of fun that Main Event is known for. The Event Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of event planning from initial contact through the execution and follow-up stages, ensuring every detail aligns with guest expectations. This position demands a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, a deep understanding of the various event packages and add-ons available, and the ability to work closely with sales management to meet and exceed sales targets.
Moreover, the Event Coordinator is a key ambassador of Main Event’s mission to deliver fun, safety, and exceptional service. This includes upholding thorough cleanliness and sanitation procedures, engaging warmly with guests, and actively participating in initiatives to drive additional event sales. The role also requires proficient use of software tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track sales revenue, guest information, and follow-up tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities blend event coordination with sales prospecting and customer relationship building to foster repeat business and maintain strong community ties.
Main Event values a team-oriented culture where collaboration and communication are essential to success. Event Coordinators work alongside store teams and management, contributing ideas during weekly sales meetings and supporting marketing efforts to boost visibility and attendance. This position may involve varied shifts, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours, reflecting the nature of the entertainment industry and the commitment to guest availability.
Compensation for this role ranges from $10.25 to $17.25 per hour, reflecting experience and contributions made by the team member. Main Event also offers an array of benefits and perks designed to keep employees motivated and valued, including opportunities for career growth, tuition reimbursement, discounts, and a supportive family fund for financial assistance during personal hardships. Recognized for its inclusive and rewarding workplace culture, Main Event proudly stands as an equal opportunity employer and participates in E-Verify where required by law. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest service, skilled in sales, and enthusiastic about being part of a dynamic, fun-focused environment.
