The company operates with a vertically integrated business model involving a diverse range of facilities including corrugated container plants, folding carton facilities, containerboard mills using recycled and virgin materials, pressure-sensitive label roll stock plants, timberlands, a paper slitting operation, and a sawmill. With over 4,600 team members across 40 facilities in 16 states, Green Bay Packaging focuses on innovation, safety, sustainability, quality, and continuous improvement. This company’s longstanding history and commitment to excellence make it a stable and dynamic employer, encouraging professional growth and team collaboration.
The Event Coordinator role at Green Bay Packaging plays a critical part in bringing corporate events and company-hosted experiences to life, giving employees and guests unique and memorable occasions. This position is central to organizing major corporate-sponsored events from inception through to flawless execution. The Event Coordinator is responsible not only for planning and logistics but also managing budgets, vendor relationships, and timelines to ensure seamless events. An exciting aspect of this role involves managing the company’s stadium house during game days and other hosted events, coordinating everything from catering to staffing and supplies.
Given the nature of the position, flexibility is key as the coordinator must be available for night and weekend work, particularly throughout the football season and key corporate event dates. The role also includes on-site duties such as assisting with the setup, operation, and teardown of events, and even supporting food and beverage service, which can include bartending responsibilities under the company’s licensing guidelines. This dynamic position offers a front-row seat to high-energy, large-scale corporate experiences, making it perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality, event planning, and delivering high-quality guest experiences.
Green Bay Packaging offers a competitive wage for this role, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, wellness programs, short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, company matching 401(k), and pension plans. Since Green Bay Packaging is committed to diversity and equal opportunity, the company ensures a fair and inclusive hiring process. The selected Event Coordinator will thrive in an environment that values detail-oriented planning, effective communication, and adaptability in fast-paced settings. This role not only demands excellent organizational and vendor management skills but also rewards those who can think on their feet and maintain professionalism throughout.
