The position of Event Coordinator at Main Event Entertainment plays a pivotal role in ensuring Guests’ experiences are tailor-made into memorable celebrations full of fun and excitement. As an Event Coordinator, you will work directly with Guests to design personalized event plans based on their unique needs and preferences. This role involves not only selling and coordinating events such as birthdays, corporate gatherings, and group outings but also upholding high standards in safety and sanitation to guarantee a secure environment for all. The Event Coordinator acts as both a sales professional and a customer service ambassador, engaging Guests warmly, handling event logistics, and managing follow-up communications. A strong emphasis is placed on building lasting relationships through prospecting and cold calling, with the goal of driving repeat and new business. Teamwork and collaboration with the Sales Manager are essential to meet and surpass sales targets, making this a dynamic and rewarding role in a fast-paced, fun-filled environment. Job Duties
- Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
- Welcoming and engaging with all Guests while serving as an ambassador of fun
- Understanding all event packages and add-ons
- Selling, scheduling, and coordinating corporate, group, and birthday events
- Utilizing systems and programs for sales revenue input, guest information, and follow-up tasks
- Partnering with the Sales Manager to exceed sales targets and quarterly goals
- Prospecting and cold calling to foster new and repeat business
- Supporting local store marketing initiatives
- Attending and participating in weekly sales meetings
- Performing opening, mid-day and closing duties
