The Event Coordinator is an essential member of Troon's indoor pavilion event team, taking charge of the daily setup, execution, and breakdown of diverse event functions within the indoor pavilion spaces. This role requires extensive expertise and a proactive approach to ensure outstanding service delivery to permit holders and guests. The Event Coordinator maintains professionalism at all times, managing event logistics such as table arrangements, room setups, and supply stations, while adhering strictly to safety protocols and alcoholic beverage control policies. Key responsibilities include coordinating traffic flow, overseeing parking regulations, and catering to client needs by providing tours, brochures, and event information. Additionally, the Event Coordinator manages inventory levels by assisting with supply orders and performs thorough cleaning and closing duties following each event. The role demands excellent communication skills to engage with clients throughout events, accommodating any changes or special requests and ensuring full client satisfaction by following up after events. Physical stamina is a requirement given the long periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting involved. The role also requires adherence to Troon's high standards of service quality and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons, including weekends and holidays. Job Duties

  • maintain a professional appearance at all times

  • keep tables, event rooms and supply stations clean and organized
  • listen and respond to guest needs
  • coordinate traffic flow and parking regulations as marked
  • provide tours, brochures and information to all potential clients
  • assist with ordering supplies and maintaining inventory control levels
  • perform cleanup and closing procedures as assigned by manager
  • setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, event areas, and related activities in an accurate and timely manner
  • carry out cleaning tasks prior and post event of rooms and common areas including kitchens, hallways and bathrooms
  • ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests and following up with the host at the end of event
  • perform other duties as assigned
