Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous retail or customer service experience
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers
  • must meet federal, state, and local legal employment requirements

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in completing craft projects and perform face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and team members
  • complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
  • ensure client satisfaction
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout
  • engage customers on rewards programs and credit cards
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • assist with omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • perform store optimization and ad set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to SOPs and company policies
  • maintain positive and respectful interaction
  • cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness
  • perform other duties as assigned
