Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service
  • Experience working with children and organizing children’s events
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and reaching
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to comply with company safety and operational procedures

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage clients of all ages by fostering a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons including goody bags and balloons in line with company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and handling paperwork
  • Adjust event plans according to client feedback and needs
  • Create and implement backup or emergency plans as needed
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold store cleanliness and safety before and after events
  • Assist customers in shopping and locating products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • Educate customers about the Voice of Customer survey
  • Support Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
  • Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise maintenance
  • Implement shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Maintain store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom upkeep
  • Cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • Perform other duties as assigned
