Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in event coordination or customer service
  • ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with all types of customers and co-workers
  • capability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and reaching
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed
  • compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

  • prior retail or customer service experience

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events such as children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct on craft projects and perform activities like face painting
  • manage party add-ons including goody bags and balloons in accordance with company standards
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative duties including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback and create contingency plans
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
  • assist customers with shopping and product location
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • promote and enroll customers in rewards programs and private label credit cards
  • educate customers on voice of customer surveys
  • support Omni channel retail processes such as BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • participate in merchandise receiving, stocking, and recovery
  • support shrink and safety initiatives
  • adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures
  • maintain positive interactions and promote team values
  • cross-train in custom framing sales and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
  • perform other duties as assigned
