Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 year/associate degree in hospitality management or event/meeting planning
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in business-related field
  • Minimum 3 years related marketing event experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with survey collection sites such as Qualtrics or Sharepoint
  • Experience in virtual event platforms
  • Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • Willingness to travel less than 25 percent
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • Good judgement and research skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2 year/associate degree in a related field such as hospitality management or event/meeting planning
  • 4 year/bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
  • Certified meeting professional (CMP) designation preferred
  • 3 related marketing event experience
  • Strong communication skills via phone, email and in person
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with survey collection sites such as Qualtrics or Sharepoint
  • Experience setting up virtual events and booths on various platforms such as vFairs, Whova, Engagez, Intrado and others
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to coordinate projects across teams and departments
  • Discretion with personal and confidential information
  • Good judgement and ability to research options within short timeframes

Job Duties

  • Assist with planning and execution of local, regional and national events which includes coordination with the outreach team member participating in the event
  • Manage details of events including registration, payment processing, staffing, reminder communication, shipping of event kit materials and giveaways and collecting summary information
  • Assist with coordination of Walks4Hearing, Provider events, veteran events, senior events, health fairs
  • Coordinate with event organizers to confirm participation details and associated costs
  • Collect, report and track event data, expenses and leads
  • Analyze data as it relates to leads, costs and purchases
  • Assist with purchasing shipping materials and shipping event materials
  • Using the FedEx portal for shipments
  • Update training manuals for sales team
  • Other event and marketing duties as assigned
