Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in event coordination or customer service
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders safely
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple events
- Must comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed
Job Qualifications
- Experience working with children and coordinating children’s events
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to handle stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers
- Retail and/or customer service experience required
- Knowledge of craft products and event facilitation beneficial
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and store team members about event details
- Complete administrative duties including answering emails, making phone calls, and preparing paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- Assist customers in shopping and product location
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- Support Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram tasks
- Maintain merchandise recovery and perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
- Model positive interaction by treating others respectfully and supporting company vision
- Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
