Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event coordination or customer service
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders safely
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple events
  • Must comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and coordinating children’s events
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
  • Organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • Ability to handle stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers
  • Retail and/or customer service experience required
  • Knowledge of craft products and event facilitation beneficial

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients and store team members about event details
  • Complete administrative duties including answering emails, making phone calls, and preparing paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans as needed
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • Assist customers in shopping and product location
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • Support Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram tasks
  • Maintain merchandise recovery and perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Model positive interaction by treating others respectfully and supporting company vision
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
