Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior retail or customer service experience
- experience planning and coordinating events especially with children
- ability to communicate effectively
- physical ability to perform job duties including standing for long periods and lifting
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- ability to use basic computer skills for administrative tasks
- commitment to upholding company standards and policies

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft project completion and perform activities such as face painting
- facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
- ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after events
- help customers shop and locate products, providing solutions
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
- participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POGs) processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance
- interact respectfully and positively with guests and coworkers
- cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
