Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in retail or customer service
  • experience with event coordination or working with children preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry heavy items
  • ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform related activities such as face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback and create emergency backup plans
  • ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote benefits of rewards programs and credit card enrollments
  • educate customers about Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintain store appearance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
  • perform other duties as assigned
