Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
- Willingness to travel interstate
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds

- Ability to work flexibly including nights and weekends
- Experience working with multiple teams and vendors
- Ability to make on-stage presentations
- Proficiency in event reporting and documentation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds
- Familiarity with marketing and social media coordination
Job Duties
- Working with publishers and conference organizers to find and schedule events detailing all necessary requirements including what supplies/fixtures are provided by the event/conference and what we need to procure ourselves
- Coordinating with buying teams on product quantities and ordering timelines
- Coordinating with Warehouse staff on product shipments and shipping timelines
- Coordinating with Mardel staff on staffing for the event
- Coordinating with Advertising on event signs and promotions including the Mardel Social Media Coordinator
- Communicating with store operations staff including writing and sending Event Memos to Mardel stores and staff
- Represent the company in various ways at events including an on-stage presentation at offsite events handling drawings/giveaways as well as working with Event onsite publishers/management
- Working with local media and chamber of commerce for publicity/events
- Interstate travel is required
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Lifting of boxes will be necessary
- Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs
- Prepare Event reports to document results of customer traffic sales and impact of each event
