Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in event coordination or customer service
Retail experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, carrying, reaching, and stretching
Must be able to handle job stress and interact positively with customers and team members
Availability to work in a public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas
Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements to work in the U.S.

Knowledge of craft materials and event facilitation techniques
Basic administrative skills for handling client communications

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
Demonstrate and instruct party participants in completing craft projects and perform face painting and other activities
Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
Communicate events with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork
Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs
Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after events
Help customers shop and locate products while providing solutions
Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
Engage customers on the benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company compliance policies
Interact with others respectfully and positively
Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
Participate in daily store cleanliness activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, and maintaining restrooms
Perform other duties as assigned
