Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- One to three years' experience preferred in convention center, conference center, or hotel event coordination or convention service work or any combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements
- Knowledge of coordination and service techniques for meetings, banquets, special events, and public functions
- Strong computer skills required
- Prior AutoCAD experience a plus

Job Duties
- Coordinate and produce small local and short-term events including meetings, banquets, special events, and public functions
- Provide event coverage assisting Event Managers on larger, regional, or national meetings and events
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal staff to ensure event requirements are met
- Manage event logistics onsite to guarantee smooth execution
- Utilize computer skills and event coordination software including AutoCAD when necessary
- Assist in planning and problem-solving during events to handle any arising issues
- Maintain records and documentation related to event coordination activities
