Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of related experience
- Knowledge of facility management and operational practices
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Licensed to drive a motor vehicle in the United States
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and move around the facility
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles of facility management, building operations, maintenance practices, and safety requirements
- Ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous events
- Skill in responding to customer inquiries and complaints
- Capacity to make prompt decisions for crowd management in crisis situations
- Ability to work independently with judgement and initiative
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CAD and Adobe Illustrator preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
Job Duties
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary technical requirements and other event related information
- Accurately prepare event estimates in conjunction with contractual proposals by the Sales Team
- Work closely with and receive directions from Event Managers
- Execute back-end paperwork related to the event including post-event notes, settlements, and photo uploads
- Inspect buildings and meeting areas to evaluate suitability for occupancy based on event requirements
- Ensure equipment, physical set-up, and personnel meet event and contractual needs
- Develop assignment schedules for staffing requirements
- Monitor performance of front of house staff including guest services, security, medical, and event staff
- Provide clear and timely communication of detailed requirements to all departments
- Assist in scheduling operational set-ups and supervise facility set-up when necessary
- Compile, file, and distribute event-related information such as medical service reports and staffing schedules
- Coordinate with the Box Office on technical and production requirements
- Manage preparation for upcoming events including setup and teardown methods
- Work irregular schedules to ensure event supervision
- May perform other duties as assigned
