Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, sales, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in catering or event management
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite and event management software
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, preferably in catering or event management
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed, with a strong commitment to reliability and meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant applications
- Previous experience in catering, event hospitality, or a related field is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on creating exceptional client experiences
Job Duties
- Drive business by actively responding to leads and building client relationships
- Conduct a minimum of 20 client outreaches weekly, focusing on relationship-building and securing new business
- Achieve an average sales target of $600,000 per year through consistent outreach and successful sales strategies
- Oversee event logistics to ensure client expectations are met, maintaining a visible presence at events to strengthen relationships
- Coordinate or oversee events on days with multiple events to ensure seamless operations
- Develop detailed event proposals aligned with client needs and budget
- Ensure contracts are submitted timely and payments are received before the event date
- Conduct site visits and sales walks to build strong venue relationships
- Collaborate with venues to ensure client events are accommodated and expectations are met
