Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working with children’s events
- retail or customer service experience
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle job stress and work effectively with others including guests and co-workers

- ability to participate in various store operational tasks
- compliant with federal, state, and local legal requirements

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
- facilitate party add-ons including goody bags and balloons
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
- ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- help customers shop and locate products
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- educate on Voice of Customer survey
- assist with omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
- participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- maintain merchandise recovery and perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and policies
- interact respectfully and positively with team members and customers
- cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in store cleanliness activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
- perform other duties as assigned
