Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • One to three years' experience preferred in convention center, conference center, or hotel event coordination or convention service work or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of coordination and service techniques for meetings, banquets, special events, and public functions
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Prior AutoCAD experience a plus
  • Ability to work onsite
  • Employment contingent on background check and substance abuse screening

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and produce small and local events such as meetings and banquets
  • Provide event coverage and assist Event Managers on larger regional and national events
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth event execution
  • Manage event logistics including setup, execution, and teardown
  • Utilize strong computer skills for event planning and coordination
  • Support event service techniques for meetings, banquets, special events, and public functions
  • Assist with layout and space planning, potentially using AutoCAD
