Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working with children and children’s events
- retail and customer service experience
- strong communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- excellent people skills and ability to engage customers

- ability to handle job stress and work well with diverse people
- energetic and enthusiastic personality
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities like face painting
- facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- communicate event details with clients and team members
- complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback
- create backup plans for events
- ensure client satisfaction
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- assist customers in shopping and product location
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- assist with Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store
- participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
- support shrink and safety programs
- follow Standard Operating Procedures and compliance policies
- maintain positive interactions and serve as a role model
- cross train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
