The Event Coordinator will manage various marketing efforts designed to enhance Champion Window's presence in the market, ultimately driving customer engagement and lead generation. This full-time role requires an individual who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers alike. As the Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for researching and evaluating divisional events and shows, booking appropriate events that align with Champion Window's goals, and ensuring efficient staffing for these events. The role includes hiring, training, and supervising Event Demonstrators to meet performance expectations and deliver engaging product demonstrations. You will oversee all aspects of booth setup and teardown, maintaining high standards for presentation and functionality. Reporting any issues with company displays to the Division Manager ensures that equipment remains in top condition. Accurate completion of customer lead slips by Event Demonstrators will be monitored to maximize sales opportunities. Budget management is a key component of this position. You will be tasked with adhering to the show/event budget while ensuring a positive return on investment through strategic planning and execution. The Event Coordinator must demonstrate Champion's products effectively and answer customer questions during events, showcasing a thorough knowledge of the product line. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining organizational efficiency and fostering teamwork. This role also demands physical stamina as it involves standing for extended periods and assisting with booth set up and tear down, including lifting items up to 40 pounds. Flexibility to work standard retail hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential to meet the demands of event schedules. Additionally, a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to travel within the division using a personal vehicle are required to fulfill travel obligations.
