Job Description

With a global footprint, the company serves a diverse client base, delivering tailored solutions that balance innovation with trusted expertise to drive positive impact worldwide.

The role of the Event Coordination Specialist at Wolters Kluwer offers a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team focused on delivering high-quality event experiences that strengthen both internal communications and client relationships. This position is essential in supporting the planning and execution of a broad spectrum of company events, including internal meetings, external client gatherings, trade shows, team-building activities, and off-site functions. Working under moderate supervision, the specialist will handle vital administrative and logistical tasks such as vendor onboarding, contract processing, and on-site registration management. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior Event and Attendee Managers, gaining insights into core business drivers, stakeholder engagement, and corporate processes while contributing meaningfully to the team’s operational goals.

Given the event-heavy nature of this role, the Event Coordination Specialist will spend approximately 50 percent of their time traveling to support events onsite, ensuring that every detail, from transportation to event setup and tear-down, runs smoothly. The role also involves researching and recommending suitable venues and vendors, preparing internal presentation materials, tracking event budgets, and reporting on outcomes. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for project coordination and a solid understanding of event planning workflows. The role not only demands strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills but also excellent communication and budget awareness to maintain operational accuracy and consistency in attendee experiences.

The compensation for this position ranges from $57,400 to $98,350 USD annually, with the opportunity to earn a bonus. Salary offers are commensurate with experience, specific location, and other factors. Wolters Kluwer also provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, tuition assistance, paid vacation and sick leave, and paid parental leave. Candidates will also appreciate a recruitment process that values authenticity and fairness, requiring in-person interviews without AI assistance to ensure genuine evaluation of skills and experiences.

Joining Wolters Kluwer as an Event Coordination Specialist means becoming part of a forward-thinking, supportive company that values diversity and equal opportunity. This role is designed for professionals seeking to develop their career in event management within a respected global organization, offering ample scope for learning, exposure, and contribution to meaningful initiatives while balancing work and life.
