With a rich heritage of innovation and a commitment to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of professionals worldwide, Wolters Kluwer delivers technology-enabled services and software to help clients make critical decisions with confidence. The company is known for its strong focus on quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction, supported by a culture that promotes diversity, inclusion, and continuous development.
The Event Coordination Specialist role at Wolters Kluwer is a dynamic and integral position within the company's events team, responsible for supporting the planning and execution of a variety of internal and external events. This includes corporate gatherings, client-facing activities, trade shows, and team-building functions. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior Event and Attendee Managers, gaining insight into the company's business drivers and internal processes while contributing to impactful event experiences. Positioned to provide both operational and logistical support, this role demands strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively under moderate guidance.
The Event Coordination Specialist will primarily focus on smaller-scale Tier 3 events, independently leading them from planning through on-site execution, while also supporting larger events collaboratively. Key aspects include vendor research and onboarding, contract processing, budget tracking, registration management, and day-of-event logistics such as transportation and set-up. With approximately 50 percent travel required, the specialist will engage directly with venues, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery that aligns with company standards. This position is crucial in maintaining a consistent and high-quality attendee experience across Wolters Kluwer's event portfolio, making it ideal for candidates eager to expand their expertise within a supportive and collaborative corporate environment.
The role also offers competitive compensation with a base salary range of $57,400 to $98,350 USD and eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Employment benefits include comprehensive health plans, retirement savings programs, tuition assistance, paid parental leave, and more, all designed to support employees' well-being and professional growth. Wolters Kluwer's commitment to equal employment opportunity ensures a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture where all qualified individuals are welcome to thrive. Candidates should be prepared for an authentic interview process focused on individual capabilities and will be expected to participate in in-person meetings and travel as part of the job duties.
