As part of The Walt Disney Company, the resort offers a unique blend of immersive experiences across theme parks, resorts, and entertainment venues. Known for its commitment to storytelling, innovation, and exceptional guest service, Walt Disney World Resort provides an exciting environment where creativity and guest engagement are at the forefront of every event and service. The resort attracts millions of visitors annually, including business and leisure travelers, making it a vibrant hub for conventions, meetings, and special event planning within the dynamic entertainment and hospitality industry.

The role of Event Consultant within Disney Meetings & Events is a key position dedicated to delivering exceptional event experiences that leverage Disney’s unmatched event resources. This role involves consulting with clients to design and sell a wide range of Disney Event Group (DEG) offerings, including entertainment, floral and gifts, theme park events and tickets, digital graphics, photography/videography, and transportation services. The Event Consultant collaborates closely with DEG creative teams and various internal partners such as Event Services, Resort Sales, and Entertainment Operations to create tailored event solutions that meet client-specific objectives and elevate attendee engagement.

A significant aspect of the role includes a strong on-site presence, with approximately 50% of the time dedicated to conducting site visits, leading planning sessions, and providing direct support to clients across Disney resorts and theme park venues. The Event Consultant is responsible for conducting detailed discovery conversations to understand client needs, facilitating immersive site tours at Disney Creative Studio, and presenting comprehensive event options to prospective and confirmed clients. Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to influence decision-making while maintaining the highest standards of guest service.

The position reports directly to the Event Services Director and offers an exciting opportunity to work within a world-class organization renowned for its creativity and excellence in event production. With a salary range of $68,600 to $91,900 annually, this role not only offers competitive compensation but also includes potential bonuses, long-term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package that supports health, financial well-being, and personal development. The Event Consultant plays a vital role in driving the success of meetings and events, creating magical and memorable experiences that align with Disney’s brand and exceed client expectations.
