The role of the Event Consultant at Bright Event Rentals is pivotal in forging strong client relationships and ensuring the smooth execution of rental orders. This position serves as the primary point of contact for clients seeking event rental products and services. As an Event Consultant, you will guide clients through the entire rental process, offering expert advice and tailored recommendations to match event themes and requirements. Your responsibilities will involve scheduling and conducting showroom appointments, processing rental orders accurately through the reservation system, and coordinating seamlessly with sales and operations teams to confirm product availability and resolve any issues that arise. This role demands excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Additionally, you will support Event Directors by managing event changes, updates, and any last-minute requests to guarantee an excellent client experience. The position is well-suited for individuals with customer service, sales, or event coordination backgrounds who enjoy working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Bright Event Rentals offers a competitive starting wage of $25 per hour along with full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and team member appreciation events such as BBQs, company outings, and holiday celebrations. Weekend availability is a requirement, and the role is based out of the Thousand Oaks location. Job Qualifications

  • ability to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Spanish-speaking is highly valued but not required
  • weekend availability is required
  • no degree required, diverse experience and backgrounds welcome
  • must be able to reliably commute to Bright location in Thousand Oaks

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and in-person
  • schedule and host showroom appointments with clients
