Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to navigate confined spaces and uneven surfaces
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and complete necessary training

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator or host(ess) prior to functions to make introductions and ensure all arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine proper setup and timeline
  • Respond to and fulfill any special banquet event arrangements and follow up to ensure compliance
  • Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures and report accidents or unsafe conditions to managers
  • Ensure clean and professional uniform and appearance and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate their service needs
  • Speak clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and various surfaces
  • Perform overhead and below-the-knee reaching including bending and stooping
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
