Job Description

Opus Agency is a pioneering full-service global event agency with over 400 team members strategically located throughout the United States, London, Sydney, Singapore, and New Zealand. Renowned for crafting exceptional event experiences, Opus has built an impressive portfolio serving world-shaping clients such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, among others. With an eye firmly set on the future, the agency envisions shaping the evolving landscape of events through innovation and an AI-infused approach. In today’s digitally dominant world, the essence of genuine, in-person connections is becoming increasingly vital, and Opus Agency is dedicated to elevating events as a core priority for Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs), empowering brands to foster meaningful relationships with their audiences.

The Event Management team at Opus plays a crucial role in this transformational journey, partnering with top-tier global brands and rapidly growing companies driving category innovation. The Event Concierge position is integral to this mission, offering invaluable, direct support to ensure seamless event operations. This role focuses on delivering exceptional concierge and registration services at a variety of domestic and international offsite conventions and meetings, typically accommodating groups ranging from 15 to 500 attendees. The Event Concierge acts as the face of the event while embodying superior customer service standards that resonate with clients, team members, and guests alike.

This is a full-time, non-exempt role based in Seattle, WA, with a typical working schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, requiring minimal travel of 0-10%. The position demands working independently within the client’s office, ensuring all event logistics run flawlessly. Key responsibilities include managing attendee registration, providing concierge services, coordinating event materials such as name badges and signage, and maintaining consistent communication with vendors, security, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate possesses strong critical thinking, organizational, and project management skills complemented by proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and OneNote. Effective communication—both written and verbal—is essential, along with an ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This role requires discretion and confidentiality, a professional presence, and adeptness in problem-solving, budget oversight, and international meeting coordination, including accommodating language differences and cultural sensitivities.

Opus Agency values diversity and inclusion, encouraging candidates from underrepresented groups to apply even if they do not meet every qualification listed. The company offers a competitive salary range from $55,000 to $60,000 annually, reflective of market standards and individual experience. Employees can expect a supportive workplace environment with chances for professional growth and development.

The Event Concierge contributes not only to the success of events but also to the ongoing elevation of the client’s and agency’s brand reputation, maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency. This role does not include supervisory responsibilities but carries significant impact through day-to-day operational excellence and collaborative teamwork. Working onsite, the Event Concierge supports multiple aspects of event delivery, including digital signage management, participant registration, emergency response coordination, and logistics support before, during, and after events.

Overall, Opus Agency offers a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity to those passionate about event management and creating memorable experiences in an ever-evolving industry.
