Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • ability to move through confined or uneven spaces
  • ability to reach overhead and below the knees
  • ability to maintain professional appearance and follow safety policies
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • no supervisory experience

Job Duties

  • meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions to coordinate arrangements
  • read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine event setup
  • respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • follow up on special banquet event requests to ensure compliance
  • follow all company and safety policies and procedures
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • maintain professional appearance and ensure confidentiality
  • communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
  • support team goals and exert physical efforts required to perform job duties
