Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality
- proficiency in hotel management software
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- professional appearance and demeanor
- physical ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years in customer service or hospitality
- experience in event planning, banquets, or front desk is a strong plus
- proficiency in hotel systems such as Opera, Delphi, and Microsoft Office Suite
- flexible schedule with availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays
- excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- professional demeanor and appearance
- strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- assist Convention Services and Catering Managers with coordination of groups as needed
- meet group meeting planner prior to functions and assist throughout the program
- establish rapport with clients and function as Manager's liaison
- manage special projects as assigned by Department Manager
- act as a liaison between clients and all internal departments
- attend pre-cons, resume and Banquet Event Order meetings
- receive signed Banquet Event Orders for all functions
- ensure meeting arrangements are to specifications during conferences
- attend post-con meetings at the conclusion of conferences when necessary
- ensure personal appearance is clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals
- ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or entire work shift
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
