As a Banquet Coordinator Assistant, the successful candidate will support event coordinators and hosts before and during receptions to guarantee that all event preparations meet the established requirements. Job Duties

  • Meet with group coordinators or hosts before the reception

  • ensure buffet and food station arrangements
  • attend to and fulfill all special banquet preparations
  • follow up on special banquet preparations to ensure compliance

  • report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • protect company information and assets
  • support and treat coworkers with dignity and respect
  • assist the team in achieving common goals
  • meet quality assurance standards
  • move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance
  • stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods or entire shifts
  • visually read and verify information
  • inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for defects
  • reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, crawling, and leaning
  • navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • move on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
