Job Duties
- Meet with group coordinators or hosts before the reception
- make introductions and ensure all preparations are agreed upon
- read and analyze the banquet order to gather guest information
- determine appropriate event organization, timeline, and specific guest needs
- ensure buffet and food station arrangements
- attend to and fulfill all special banquet preparations
- follow up on special banquet preparations to ensure compliance
- adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- protect company information and assets
- support and treat coworkers with dignity and respect
- assist the team in achieving common goals
- meet quality assurance standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods or entire shifts
- visually read and verify information
- inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for defects
- reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, crawling, and leaning
- navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
- move on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
- ascend and descend service stairs or ramps
- greet and acknowledge all guests per company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally
- answer phones using proper etiquette
- perform other reasonable work tasks as requested by supervisors
