Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • strong communication skills
  • willingness to follow safety and security policies and procedures
  • ability to work in confined or elevated spaces

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions and ensure all arrangements are agreeable
  • read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine proper setup and timeline
  • respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and anticipate their service needs
  • speak with others using clear and professional language and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
  • visually verify information and inspect equipment to identify defects
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors
