Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years experience in a culinary role
  • Proven leadership experience in a kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA/DC area
  • Flexible availability to work part-time schedules
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Training kitchen staff as needed
  • Ensuring that kitchen has correct stock for event menu
  • Participating in all aspects of food preparation
  • Ensuring that kitchen staff adheres to all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Leading meal service for various events
  • Managing kitchen operations during events
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
