Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or related field
  • five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • valid Class D driver's license and good driving record
  • ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
  • ability to supervise part-time employees, temporary staff, vendors, and volunteers
  • knowledge of fair employment laws and non-discriminatory practices
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or related field
  • minimum five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proven leadership and supervisory experience
  • ability to manage event logistics and vendor relations
  • familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies
  • knowledge of EEO fair employment laws and practices
  • problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • ability to work independently with broad administrative direction
  • valid Class D driver's license and good driving record

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary on-site host for events and client interactions
  • build strong relationships with clients from inquiry through event execution
  • ensure guests feel welcomed and supported
  • determine client objectives and inspect facilities for conformance
  • serve as liaison to Director during events
  • receive and resolve complaints
  • coordinate logistics with staff, vendors, and partners
  • lead day-of-event execution and problem-solving
  • direct and support temporary staff during events
  • meet with sponsors and organizing committees for event planning and budget monitoring
  • arrange audio-visual equipment, transportation, displays, and other event needs
  • ensure complete event clean-up and facility reset
  • serve as initial contact for inquiries and support marketing initiatives
  • collaborate with tourism and community partners
  • assist in publicizing events and promoting sponsorships
  • complete pre- and post-event reports and operational feedback
