Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • 2 years of prior experience as a bartender in catering or restaurant
  • Knowledge of cocktail mixology and proper beverage service
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong communication
  • Ability to multitask and be courteous to guests
  • Must be able to work events lasting around 4 hours with limited breaks
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs

Job Duties

  • Be timely for all shifts and check-in with Event Captain or Event Manager
  • Be friendly, smile, be personable and have a positive attitude during all events
  • Stock bar with glassware and appropriate beer, wine, liquor as listed on the banquet event order
  • Cut and prep slices of fruit garnishes and fills juice mixers as needed
  • Refill ice bins
  • Provide service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage service throughout an event based on the style of bar service (open bar or cash bar)
  • Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and bartending supplies
