The Bartender role at Life Time is a dynamic and engaging position that plays a vital part in enhancing the overall guest experience within the Life Time cafes. This role requires a knowledgeable and customer-focused individual who understands and adheres to alcohol serving laws and can skillfully prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Bartenders at Life Time are responsible for crafting cocktails by following standard recipes, ensuring the quality and presentation meet high standards, including the addition of garnishes. Interaction with members and customers is a key part of the job, where bartenders not only take drink orders but also serve food if necessary, handle payments, and answer any questions to ensure guest satisfaction.

Maintaining a clean and sanitized bar environment is essential for this role, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The Bartender also manages bar inventory effectively by restocking liquors, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic ingredients while replacing beer barrels as needed. Managing the cash register accurately and reconciling at the end of the shift is part of the responsibility to safeguard company assets. This hourly position offers a competitive starting wage of $15.00 per hour, with potential earnings up to $18.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
  • certified to serve alcohol
  • CPR AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
  • certified to serve alcohol
  • CPR AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • experience with inventory and ordering preferred

Job Duties

  • Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks including adding garnish
  • serves members and customers in a timely fashion including checking identification accepting payment and answering any questions that may arise
  • maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface furniture and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar kitchen
  • maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors wines beer and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
  • reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift
