The role of Event Bar Manager at B&B is a critical position dedicated to managing all bar operations within a specified venue. Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in bar/event management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Certified in responsible alcohol service such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
  • Knowledge of a wide range of beverages and mixology
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of bar operations at the designated venue including staff
  • Ensure bars are adequately stocked and prepared for each event
  • Maintain high standards of beverage quality and presentation
  • Monitor beverage stock levels and order supplies as needed
  • Implement inventory tracking systems to reduce waste and prevent theft
  • Manage cash handling procedures and reconcile sales
  • Prepare sales reports and assist with budgeting
  • Ensure adherence to all local and state alcohol service laws
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines within bar operations
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues
  • Work with event coordinators to align bar services with event themes
  • Participate in planning meetings as needed
  • Available to work at other events when not required at the primary venue
  • Adapt to varying event requirements and locations
