Job Requirements

less than high school education or one month related experience or training
availability to work special shifts including 2nd, 3rd shifts, and weekends if needed
ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment
ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing
occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds
maintain neat and clean appearance with complete uniform at all times

Job Qualifications

less than high school education or equivalent experience
ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily
ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
ability to write simple correspondence
effective one-on-one communication skills with customers and employees
basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money
neat and clean personal appearance
valid state-issued driver’s license if driving is required

Job Duties

arrive at work every scheduled day in a neat and clean uniform
courteously assist customers by answering questions
direct incoming customers to available parking spaces
count vehicles on location throughout shift
write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations
patrol parking levels on foot or motor carts
provide assistance to customers who forgot their parking location
give directions and inform customers about local landmarks
control traffic at entrances and exits
report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, and unusual occurrences
communicate hazards like debris and spills to management
maintain knowledge of major streets and landmarks
ensure successful customer interactions
count "bank" money at shift start
collect cash and coupons securely
make change and issue receipts
verify shift transactions and complete cashier reports
