The role available at SP+ focuses on delivering exceptional customer service at parking facilities, ensuring smooth payment transactions, and maintaining effective traffic flow through parking gates. Key responsibilities include assisting and guiding customers courteously, managing parking space availability, issuing warnings for violations, and conducting regular patrols of the parking areas. Additionally, employees handle cash transactions securely and report any incidents or hazards to management.

This customer service role also requires a solid understanding of local geography to assist customers with directions and offer knowledge of nearby landmarks and thoroughfares. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work in various weather conditions and be physically capable of standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds when necessary. Attention to detail is critical when handling financial transactions, including counting money and completing cashier shift reports accurately.

Educational requirements are flexible, with candidates needing less than a high school education or having at least one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination. Work schedules may include second and third shifts, weekends, and other special shift requirements depending on the location's needs. A valid state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record is mandatory for employees expected to drive company vehicles.

Job Requirements

  • Less than high school education or equivalent
  • One month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends as required
  • Ability to maintain neat and clean appearance and uniform at all times
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment throughout the shift
  • Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to occasionally sit, climb, balance and lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license if driving company vehicle
  • Ability to read and write simple correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using American currency units
