Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in event planning, hospitality, customer service, or administrative support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Adaptability to weekend and irregular schedules
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and enthusiasm during extended hours and peak events
  • Capability to work autonomously and in team environments
  • Completion of pre-employment screenings including reference checks, employment verification, background check, and drug testing
  • Ability to perform physical duties including standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, kneeling, and operating motorized carts
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental and weather conditions
  • Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunity employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of relevant experience in event planning, coordination, hospitality, customer service, or administrative support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism during busy periods
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with event management software, CRM, or registration tools considered a plus
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
  • Bilingual skills advantageous

Job Duties

  • Support event logistics and planning from initial inquiry to day-of execution
  • Coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure smooth communication
  • Manage on-site event operations including setup and guest flow
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols protecting guests, staff, animals, and habitats
  • Assist with event space preparation including VyStar Skyscape, banquet venues, and meeting rooms
  • Maintain professionalism and positive client relationships through effective communication
  • Adapt to fluctuating weekend schedules and extended hours while managing multiple priorities
