Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of relevant experience including internships or volunteer coordination
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • willingness to adapt to fluctuating weekend schedules
  • strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
  • valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • ability to maintain professionalism during peak event periods and extended hours
  • capacity to work independently and collaboratively
  • successfully complete pre-employment screenings including reference verification, employment history check, criminal background check, and drug test
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in various weather conditions
  • commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of relevant experience in event planning, hospitality, customer service, or administrative support
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • demonstrated project management skills
  • ability to maintain professionalism during extended hours and busy weekends
  • valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • familiarity with event management software and CRM systems
  • experience supporting corporate, social, or nonprofit events
  • basic knowledge of event logistics, guest services, and safety practices
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
  • bilingual skills

Job Duties

  • Support event logistics and client coordination
  • communicate with vendors and manage on-site event operations
  • assist in preparing event spaces such as VyStar Skyscape and banquet venues
  • ensure safety protocols are followed to protect guests, staff, animals, and habitats
  • manage event setups and guest flow
  • uphold professionalism and positive communication during peak periods
  • collaborate with team members to deliver seamless event experiences
