Located in Tallahassee, Florida, the Florida Association of Court Clerks & Comptrollers (FACC) is a respected statewide, non-profit member association dedicated to supporting the Florida Clerks of the Circuit Court and Comptrollers. Established to provide advocacy, education, and resources, the association plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of these constitutional officers who perform vital functions across the state. Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • Two years of experience in event or meeting planning
  • Experience in hospitality industry preferred
  • Experience working with elected officials, attorneys, and legislators
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to learn website management software
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk several miles during events

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree

  • Demonstrated experience working with elected officials, attorneys, and legislators
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines

  • Ability to quickly learn website management software
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk several miles during events

Job Duties

  • Assist with hotel logistics and planning for over 40 events annually
  • Assist with hotel accommodations including managing rooming lists and coordinating with Hotel Housing Coordinator
  • Monitor and respond to two event-related email inboxes in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist the Events and Exhibit Specialist with logistics for smaller events
  • Complete special projects assigned by management
  • Attend departmental and committee meetings and write meeting minutes
  • Run errands related to event needs including picking up food for trainings
  • Assist the Events Department with bills and invoices
  • Maintain all FCCC calendars
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
