The Event Assistant role at Kehoe Designs is a full-time, onsite position based in Chicago, Illinois. This position plays a crucial supportive role within the event production team by assisting Event Producers and Senior Event Producers to ensure that every aspect of an event is executed flawlessly. The Event Assistant is responsible for managing sales contract details, translating creative designs into practical production requirements, coordinating production elements such as samples, inventory, and rentals, and maintaining clear and effective communication across internal departments and with clients. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong follow-through to meet the fast-paced demands of the event industry. The Event Assistant reports directly to the Client Services Manager and collaborates closely with Event Producers and sales leadership to facilitate smooth operations from conceptualization through to on-site execution. This position also involves assisting with client communications, conducting venue walkthroughs, supporting on-site events twice a month, and helping to streamline operational workflows and maintain accurate records.

Job Requirements

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Qualifications
