We are currently offering a full-time opportunity for a motivated and organized individual with a passion for hospitality and event management to join our dynamic team in Sarasota. This role reports directly to the Sales Manager, playing an integral part in supporting the sales and operational aspects of event planning. The position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, complemented by benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. The position involves a blend of administrative, marketing, and operational duties designed to foster professional growth and engagement in every phase of event management. Responsibilities include vendor communication to ensure availability and competitive pricing, developing detailed event cost sheets, and preparing compelling client proposals using Microsoft Word and Excel. Effective liaison work between clients and the Sales Manager is crucial, as is the ability to coordinate site visits and respond to leads with a proactive approach.

Marketing responsibilities focus on maintaining and creating engaging content for GlobalWorks' social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. This aspect emphasizes the importance of digital presence in attracting new business and fostering client relationships.

Operational involvement requires participation in event setups and breakdowns, managing vendors onsite pre and post events to ensure smooth execution. The role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, making it essential for candidates to have computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Job Requirements
