Job Requirements
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Outlook
- Familiarity with Smartsheet project coordination tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Critical thinker with good organization and accuracy
- Ability to respectfully deliver a point-of-view
- Ability to effectively present work and receive feedback
- Interest in public transportation and urban planning desired but not required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or five years' work experience in marketing, communications, and/or event planning
- Event coordination experience
- Administrative experience
- Eye for detail
- Self-motivated
- Willingness to grow and expand skill set
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident eligible to work in the U.S. as determined by U.S. Immigration Laws and the Department of Homeland Security
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or five years' work experience in marketing, communications, and/or event planning
- Event coordination experience
- Administrative experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- Familiarity with Smartsheet project coordination tools
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Willingness to grow and expand skill set
Job Duties
- Coordinate timely mailing of monthly Footnotes and other department/agency mailings
- Coordinate the printing, distribution and scheduling of interior cards, rider alerts, take-ones and other advertising and marketing materials
- Process and maintain all department purchase orders
- Coordinate and staff internal and external special events
- Coordinate special projects as assigned
- Work with vendors to obtain quotes and order promotional items
- Oversee the maintenance of marketing files, including the online photo archive
- Act as point person for team schedules and appointments
- Assist with the tracking and reporting of community sponsorships, chamber memberships, and agency team participation in regional leadership roles
- Perform other duties as assigned
